An atheist holds that there is no God.

An agnostic is someone who holds that it is impossible to know whether there is a God or not.

Most religious beliefs are based on Faith rather than knowledge.

It follows that all religious people must also be agnostic.

Do you agree and if not why not?

Prophet John
What on earth are you talking about? Is this what is called talking in tounges? Try and be rational for once in answer to a serious question.

I'm Atheist but I'll like to speak more on nature of religious believers.

All religious followers consider ignorance as the evidence for god.

Not a single religious follower will tell you evidence for existence of god but instead he will simply ask questions to prove his ignorance, like "how did everything come from" and so on...

And then when he will find some unanswered questions, he will attach a pathetic explanation of "god did it".

I'm agnostic. If there is a god, I think we lack the capacity to understand it's existence. Thus, since all religions claim not only to know the existence of God, but the will... I don't believe any of them can be correct.

I only partly agree with your idea that we're all agnostic though. A thing (being, whatever) that we can't even comprehend can't be proven or confuted, so it takes belief to firmly say either. Even Atheists, although most have rational arguments for their beliefs, they are still just that; beliefs.
However, some people can't (or won't) tell the difference between belief and knowledge.

I disagree. As per your statement "An agnostic is someone who holds that it's impossible to know whether there is a God or not". Well, I've heard religious people claim they know without a shadow of a doubt there is a God so that doesn't make them agnostic.

I'm a bit of both, I was raised in the free will baptist faith, but in the past 4 or 5 years have grown to have an enquizative mind. I whole heartedly believe that there is something out there we call God" A creator", but I question the way we all see him. I say find your most compfortable path, then do as you will, but harm none.

Most religious people claim to know a God exists. Faith comes into play when it comes to knowing God would do good things for people.

I believe however, 99.99% of people are agnostic at best. If people really believed that good people go to Heaven or whereever their religion says, then death wouldn't be a tragedy. It would be like winning the lottery time a billion.

Gosh it's like the no-such-thing-as-an-atheist question, but leveled at Christians.

There are different paths to "knowledge" and some people find it through faith. They KNOW that God exists on a personal level, but can not justify it to anyone else using logic because that's impossible.

Stop trying to impose labels on other people.

Having faith does not stop questions being asked. Do these questions mean a lack of faith I think they do. If you have doubts can you call yourself a Christian? Yes because Christ knew and knows those doubts because he had them on the cross We are human and pray for forgiveness of doubt. Do we feel guilty? No Christ removes that guilt once we have properly confronted our sins and doubts.

I hadn't really thought about it that way, but you are leaving something out. Most religious people have faith because of something that happened. This makes them feel that they do "know" that God is real, so I guess I disagree with you.

Sorry, I don't agree. My belief is the one thing that seperates true Christians and religious people from others, is there Faith!! As a true Chrsitian, I don't wonder if there is a God, I KNOW there is one. Thanks for an interesting question and have a great day!!

Technically I'm agnostic (on the basis you can't prove a negative), but to all intents and purposes I'm atheistic.
