My sister is missing and I am going to make posters and cover the city with them. What info should be on it, and what info should not be on it (like for her safety)?

don't listen to all those people who automatically assume you're trying to take the easy way out. its hard when someone you love is missing and there seems to be nothing you can do. putting up posters is a great idea especially right around the area where is was last seen. also put them up at hospitals and the places she liked to go alot. bus stations are always a good idea too. whether she is voluntarily missing or not anywhere there is a large group of people is a good place. the more eyes that are aware the better. call your newspaper and the newspapers in the surrounding areas and give the basic info and a recent picture. also call your local news stations and get an email address where you can send the information to quickly get it on air. you can also call your local radio stations and give them a physical description. you can probably call some churches in your area as well to see if you can gather volunteers to help put up posters and flyers, they are usually more than willing to help. good luck with your search i hope you find her. my prayers are with you and your family!!

well first off if she has been missing for more than 24 hours you need to contact the police. They will help you more than a Missing poster will. But if you are set on making the posters have a picture of her, her full name, age, height and weight, hair color, any birthmarks, tattoos or anything that is unique to her and maybe when and where she was last seen. hope that helps

Anything and everything. Age, date of birth, height, weight, hair color, eye color, any scars or tattoos, a recent picture, a number to get a hold of you, the number to your local police. Basically anything about her that would make people notice her. If she has a car, you will want to add info about her vehicle an maybe who she was last seen with and when. Also contact the Center For Missing and Exploited Children... They will help. Please tell us about her also...

Well first off you need to be really aggressive about this if you hope to find her. Don't take no for an answer. You need to put her face out there and get anyone and everyone you can to see it.

On the poster you need to put basics like:
Age
Height
Weight
Hair Color
Eye Color
What she was wearing when last seen
Any distinguishing features
And anything else significant to finding her.

To get her on the news you need to call, go in, fax, email, EVERYTHING until it is known that she is missing. People do care! I hope you find her.

Also, use the answer.yahoo resources. Try to upload her picture so maybe someone has seen her and contact you.

Her height, weight, eye color, hair color, any noticable markings like tattoos or birth marks, age, last time seen and picture should all be on the poster. Just call the news station on their tip line and if they feel it is news worthy they will run a story about her. Good luck, I hope you find your sister.

There may be web sites to help with this question.

I would think you would want a photo, name, date of photo, date she went missing, where she was last seen, phone number to call with info, suggestion of a reward, her age, etc.

Have you talked to the police about this?
