In my country there is no driver's license needed to ride by 50ccm bike. Do I need it to ride by such a bike in the USA? If NO, what kind of document should I have with me. I am only a short-time visitor in the USA.

You need to check with the laws in the state(s) you'll be visiting/riding in. In Connecticut, there is no registration or insurance required, but I do believe you are supposed to have a license.

This is a play Dumb situation, as it may depend on each State, if you get pulled over by the Police just tell them you not need a license in your country and thought it was the same in the U.S.A. Many may give you a warning and tell you.
In my State anything below 50cc does "not" require a driver license, bike license or registration.

Each state has different laws regarding motorized scooters. Where are you going to be riding it??

To understand the process for someone holding a license issued outside the U.S. to drive in the United States, check out this U.S. Government web page:

it varies by state, In my state (Washington) they passed a law saying that anything with 50cc or less is considered just like a bicycle which means stay on the sidewalk and wear a helmet but no license or registration is required.
