Well Sara, these folks are very, very close, but they haven't hit the bullseye have they?

In addition to the "skull and crossbones," and "black and white flags," the Watchtower is a symbol of the secret society known as The Templars.

Around the globe, the watchtower is probably most widely associated with Jehovah's Witnesses, but they are hardly a "secret society".

In fact, "The Watchtower" is the largest circulated religious magazine the globe has ever seen, and is available without charge to any interested person. "The Watchtower" is distributed by nearly SEVEN MILLION volunteer ministers of Jehovah's Witnesses, and has been published continuously since the 1870's.

It seems odd and inaccurate to pretend that the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses is a "secret society".

The watchtower figures in 7th day Adventist, but I don't know any other "secret society" that used it, definitely not the Masons or most of it's concordant bodies (besides the Masons are not a secret society, and have not been since 1726).

I don't think most people are bashing the religion..Most people on here that ask JW a question are actually trying to get them to see outside of the WTS..
JW do not and will not research their religion..and they should..They will find out some very disturbing things if they did..
JW's are good people..they try so hard to be Christians..They think , though, that they are the only True Christians and that is simply not true..Their beliefs are so strange compared to other Christians ..Beliefs that have an orgin, to them if they researched..
They believe for example that Michael the Archangel is Jesus..They believe that Jesus when on earth was just a "chief agent" of Gods..as JW's Bible mistranslates it..Gods Chief Agent..What disrespect to Jesus ..
They have changed major scriptures in the Bible..They say they have Bible Scholars that say theirs is the most accurate translation..But, if you look up the name of the Scholar , you will see all of the negative things he said also that they do not mention to you..
Also, they fail to tell you about the many, many other Bible scholars that totally disagree with their Bible interpretations..

4 or maybe 5 men..I forget which one..translated their Bible..None were scholars of any sort..3 had only high school educations..None..of them were qualified to translate the Holy Bible..
I would NEVER trust a Bible that has been twisted so much..

More than one secret society has claimed such a symbol. However, in keeping with the religion bashing that goes on in here, I'll guess you mean the Illuminatus?
