I have found that when you bring out God's Word and say, " Alright. If I listen to you then you have to listen to me about the Lord Jesus." They flee then because they've been so brain-washed in their "religion" that they can't dispute or take much of Scripture. God bless!

We are fulfilling the prophecies found at Matthew 24:14 and 28:19. When Jesus sent out his disciples, he directed them to go to peoples homes.
Acts 20:20--"how I kept back nothing that was helpful, but proclaimed it to you, and taught you publicly and from house to house"
Matthew 10:11-13--"“Now whatever city or town you enter, inquire who in it is worthy, and stay there till you go out. And when you go into a household, greet it. If the household is worthy, let your peace come upon it. But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you."
Acts 5:42--"And daily in the temple, and in every house, they did not cease teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ"
The message that we bring to you is the same one Jesus and the apostles preached about. It is a life-saving work that we are doing and since that preaching work involves lives, we must ensure that all people worldwide are given an opportunity to hear the "good news" regarding God's Kingdom and the many blessings it will bring to the earth and to all those who inherit it. (Psalm 37:9-11)
Our preaching work is motivated by love--first for God and also for our neighbors.

Jehovah's Witness knock at your door because they have been given the the instruction to "go and make disciples of people of all the nations". You are being given a chance to know the Truth about what is to happen in the near future and what God has in store for mankind, and if you do not accept it, when judgement day arrives you can't say "no one ever tried to tell me". ......Just a note though to Naomi: the heavenly hope does not belong to the Jews....when they rejected Jesus, they were no longer God's chosen people.

You must live in a highly saturated area, because I've only ever had a religious person stop by where I was living once. Just ignore them if you must. They have the freedom to knock on your door, although if they're doing it on a daily basis you probably could file a harassment suit, but I doubt that's the case. They may be a nuisance, but they're harmless.
Sometimes I wish they'd stop by more often. It'd make for a good discussion, if nothing else. The one time they stopped by I invited them in and made smoothies. I listened to all they had to say and then argued with them for a couple hours. It was fun. Maybe they blacklisted my house?

This question has been answered here several times.
Jehovah's Witnesses spread the Gospel because the Lord Jesus Christ commanded Christians to do that.
If you don't want them knocking at your door, just tell them so.
You can be put on a list of people we will not call on.

Tell them to put you on the do not call back list.
We do this because this is what we are told to do.
“As you go, preach.”—Matt. 10:7
“Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations . . . teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you.” (Matthew 28:19, 20)
In his prophecy about events to take place at “the conclusion of the system of things,” Jesus said: “And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.” (Matthew 24:3, 14) Or, as stated at Mark 13:10: “Also, in all the nations the good news has to be preached first.”—See also Revelation 14:6, 7.
Who, today, should share in the preaching work? Evidently, Christendom feels it is not an obligation for everyone, and it is true that when Jesus said that the good news would be preached, he did not specify who would do the work. Whom else, though, would Jehovah use for such a work but those who have put faith in his Word and begun to apply it in their lives? When Jehovah determined in the days of Noah to warn the wicked world of mankind of a coming destruction, he used a man who “walked with the true God.” (Genesis 6:9, 13, 14; 2 Peter 2:5) When he wanted prophetic messages delivered to Israel, he sent ‘his servants, the prophets.’ (Jeremiah 7:25; Amos 3:7, 8) The dedicated nation of Israel was a nation of his witnesses. (Exodus 19:5, 6; Isaiah 43:10-12) Yes, Jehovah uses his dedicated servants as his witnesses.
Some have said that the command to make disciples, given at Matthew 28:19, 20, was given only to the apostles and therefore does not apply to Christians in general. But notice what Jesus said: “Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations . . . teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you.” Jesus’ followers were to teach new disciples to observe all the things Jesus commanded. And one of the things he commanded was to ‘go and make disciples.’ Surely, all new disciples would have to be taught to observe this particular command too.
Jesus preached directly to the people. We read, for example, that he preached in the synagogues. Why? Because people assembled there on the Sabbath and listened to a reading and discussion of the Scriptures. (Matthew 4:23; Luke 4:15-21) Jesus also preached to people along the wayside, beside the sea, on a mountain slope, at a well outside a city, and in homes. Wherever there were people, Jesus preached to them.—Matthew 5:1, 2; Mark 1:29-34; 2:1-4, 13; 3:19; 4:1, 2; Luke 5:1-3; 9:57-60; John 4:4-26.
This is why we preach.

always answer the door...politely tell them to take your house off their list...they won't call for at least 6 months. They will write your address on the map they have.
After 6 months they will just check to see if you still live there. They will once again knock....answer the door...and tell them again to take your house off the list.
The reason they are calling on you is your life is in danger. They are there to offer you assistance. The destruction that is coming is real...just like Noah's day...
We care for you. And God doesn't want anyone to be destroyed but he wants them to get everlasting life.

In all fairness, aren't they doing what all Christians do? Keep telling people what they believe to be right so you will be saved? I know of people that are Christians, not JW, who constantly want to preach to me. I may not like it, but all religions in one way or another do the same thing.

Jesus told us in Matthew 6:33, and Matthew 28:19 "To Preach the Good News" and that s what Jehovah's witnesses do. Jehovah's Witness wants to share the Good News. There is no enough space for u to explain, however, please click the site below to understand.

You could always put up a No Solicitation sign on your door, but that almost never works. So, what you can do is not answer the door. At all.

Keep a Bible by your door and read this passage to them and tell them that God says that they have to leave!
2 John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. 8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. 9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. 10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: 11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
They teach that Jesus is really the arch-angel Michael and not the Word made flesh as John teaches in John 1.
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God...14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
