My question refers to a response given by a person responding to the "morning prayer" question earlier. I found it quite interesting. Whilst I feel I ought to know the answer, I am trying to figure it out.............can anybody help? I think that it revolves around "thy will be done" but then would prayer effect Gods course of action?

God and a cure has no direct relationship.Praying for some body to get a cure is an extended well wishing with a divine power's help. The basic remains the same except that a religious dressing has been applied to it.

No, God would not withhold anything from anyone just because there was nobody else praying for it. It only takes 1 prayer. It does say when two come into agreement, which is true, but that's not a rule for it. People praying with others helps, but is not necessary.

It makes ZERO since.

I have argued about this for years.

Helped turn me athiest.

an all powerfull god should be able to hear a prayer even jsut one person prays.

so if he hears it why do something more if a lot of people pray for it? Especially when somtimes its random srangers who will never think twice about thename they heard on the bible channel again.

does he just only help out the popular?

it makes NO since.

I'm an athiest now.

and i asked questions like yours a lot.

you may deep inside not be 100% sure he exist all the time, and that alone has already made you and agnostic, embrace it.
