All of his shows are degrading and he is possibly the most disgusting person on television/radio. Is this what people find entertaining?

Howard Stern's core audience is proof that the 'Dumbing Down of America' is NOT a myth.

If you don't like it, don't listen to it. He is on Satellite radio now, so not everyone can hear him. He is funny and he does speak the truth. Yes, he can be degrading at times, but its all about who his audience is. People want to hear humor, and want to hear what he has to say and what he is doing. He has been around on the radio for many years. If people didn't like him, he wouldn't have been allowed on the air.

I see on tv these religious shows, where a preacher is on tv and preaching. To me, this is annoying, but since I don't like it, I turn the channel or change the station, I don't complain to everyone that they are annoying and shouldn't be allowed to voice their opinions or air their beliefs, I practice the freedom to change the channel to something I do like. Its my right to do so.

Because he entertains. Nothing in this world is valued so much as entertainment. People love to be shocked. Horror movies, Fear Factor, talk radio, crude music... people eat it up. I think that no matter how many years go by we will never be too far removed from the days of public executions and the colisseum.

Obviously some people. That's what's great about the U.S. Someone like Howard Stern can have a radio show and say what he wants. Also, we don't have to listen to him. I don't agree with him in any way, shape or form, but I support his right to say what he wants.

If he did not do it someone else would. I personally listen to him to just see what outrageous stunt he is going to pull next, which is the majority of his audience. You dont always have to agree with someone to listen to them.

Why are you allowed on the planet? religious people all say that God has a purpose for us, maybe he is here to beckon a new era and save us all from Armageddon!

You have obviously never listened to his show. It is about honesty. And it's really funny most of the time.

I know most of you religious types aren't that into honesty.
