Is that evolution?

There is a blending of the races and a shifting of the average toward races with the highest birth over death rates. Also, because of technology more of the less fit are surviving. Therefore, the average intelligence, health, fitness, and overall quality is decreasing.

However, there is little to no evolution. Evolution requires isolated small groups with extensive inbreeding (similar genes not brother-sister, etc.) to fix in desirable mutations. Or else, you need some major change in the environment killing off a majority leaving those with certain desirable traits for the new environment as the survivors.

Evolution has no purpose or direction, it just is. The idea is that systems of species move to fit their environment, those that do not fit well die and therefore cannot transmit their genes to the next generation. Successful genes are passed forward, of course successful is a local concept. If the Earth became 20 degrees hotter, humans could not survive and so our evolution would come to an end, but other species fitted to those local circumstances would thrive. Evolution does not go anywhere, it just describes how species thrive or fail to thrive based upon their fittedness to their environment.

as a species we have not evolved much at all for the last 45,000 years-we are stuck on things like war,hate,regret,remorse,guilt.... and so on and none of these attitudes will assist us on the journey of evolution they are attitudes of a past time that we have not let go of and put aside to make way for new thoughts and new creativity...the time is near for these to become the past and for humanity to take its next step[living in the now]...if you really want to start evolving then look up the word [kundalini] it is called the dragon or serpent within and is a reserve of energy that humanity will discover soon many have already started to awaken to...right now we are stuck in place but the days of limited thinking are coming to an end in the next stage of progression is on the horizon

According to the science of evolution, it sure is- no doubt.
Just as Survival of the Fittest dictates in nature, our wars and intolerence and standards of living reflect that law.

The weak will not survive to influence the earth but the strong will trample over them and mold our lives as they see fit.
The methods of the strong survivors are taught and copied so that the next generation will not be weak and lose to another "tribe".

Sudden leaps in technology equal nature's mutations which give an organism an advantage.

Those have nothing to do with evolution, and everything to do with human failings. Evolution is NOT about social mores. Evolution is about the genetic changes in a living things over a long period of time that sometimes results in new species.

There is no purpose in evolution. It is not a plan which heads somewhere but a process of selection of those organisms more successful than others.
If you have to think in those terms we can only say that we are heading for extinction because this is true of all organisms.

Yes, it is evolution. The more evolved we become the more ingenious our ways of killing ourselves become.

Evolution has been completely disproved. Go to answersingenesis.com
It is actually impossible for mankind to improve beacause there are faults in our genetic makeup. Each generation is more prone to disease and body malfunctions.
