Glaucoma is a treatable disease and vision loss can be prevented and delayed by treatment.

To prevent further loss you must follow your eye doctor's advice, take your drops or pills as directed, have surgery when indicted and keep your follow up appointments.

As to your personal prognosis, whether you are likely to suffer further vision loss and how soon depends upon your individual factors and is a subject best discussed with your doctor.

Glaucoma is water putting pressure on the optical nerve and eventually it can destroy the optical nerve. There are ways to treat it though. I have complete tunnel vision in my right eye and in my left eye none....and I have to say that after taking glyconutrients for 6 weeks it is slowly but surely getting better. The first thing that came back was the color perception and by now did I notice a difference in my central vision. In addition to vision problems was I born partially deaf and to my amazement did the hearing in my right ear improve....give it a try, the stuff works wonders
