This is just least optimistic figure, optimistic figure may reach 300.000 iraqis killed by US.

So many bloodshed.........

Are 5000 killed in WTC worth 180.000 killed iraqis?

Does that mean iraqis live has less value than US citizen life?

cpinatsi, keep in mind that not ALL americans believed Iraq had anything to do with WTC, I sure as hell didn't. I have been against the war in iraq from the beginning.

Yes, so much SHAMELESS bloodshed. That is why we need to pull out, and let them run their own lives. We never should have gone. With a soldier for a husband, I've had many arguments about this, but though i can see others' points of view, I will not change mine. We don't belong there.

and to c k, Yes i know firsthand many who have been there, and won't talk about it. A lot of them wouldn't go near even the kids because we are so hated that the children shoot at us too.

I hardly believe that that many Iraqi civilians have been killed from US airstrikes. Contrary to popular belief, the US soldiers are not a bunch of brutal a$$ holes who go around inflicting pain on innocent people. Do you know anyone firsthand who served in Iraq? I didn't think so. Because if you did, you'd have heard REAL stories of what's going on over there. You'd have seen the pictures he/she brought back of Iraqi kids smiling and playing with other soldiers. You'd have heard stories of soldiers giving the kids toys and making sure they're taken care of. Get your facts straight before you go around bad mouthing people who are busting their a$$es over there, while you're sitting your own a$$ on the computer not contributing to society.

To James below: you don't deserve to even be heard. How dare you say that about American soldiers? You're the one who's the spineless coward, because you'd never give your life for your country.

aDo Muslims realize that the Americans would never have had any reason to send the army over there if they hadn't backed a bunch of murderers of 9-11 ?
Most of the deaths that you're blaming America for are the result of the different factions murdering each other to get in the chair lost by Saddam.
When an Iraqi suicide bomber kills himself by murdering children on a school bus, or women and children in the market place, you and creeps like you, scream " the Americans, the Americans ".
It means that Iraqis don't put much value on other Iraqi lives.

a few good must suffer that all may prosper, it is the way of the world...and always has been. Right or Wrong and sadly enough War is inevitable. Besides one can only thank the people who caused that action in the 1st place huh...
if one goes up to an allgator and peeves it? well consequences might be more severe than the instigator wanted huh... such is the case here it seems. Personally? why cant we all just get along. p.s.= david an goliath was just a myth..

First , how come you did not say the "5,000" killed in the WTC
were innocent;Second, it is closer to 3,000 then 5,000.
Third, people like you are the reason citizens of Iraq were not free all these years, people that are not willing to make sacrifices to gain there freedom; Americans are fighting and dying so Iraqis can be free, how about thanking them instead of criticizing them.

I don't believe those numbers are acurate, how many of those have really died from their religious war? It's popular to say we are the only bad people on the planet... so maybe we should leave and then when the number of dead skyrocket we won't be to blame. Or maybe we will... I mean we removed a despot and left them a democracy/ soon to be theocracy. And while we value life let's remember.. extremists of any belief system have never held a high regard for life... they only regard the higher struggle. So if they are willing to throw people in our path we might as well be willing to mow them down...

One American life is worth a million Iraqi lives since you brought it up. Regardless your figures are nonsense, and a far far greater number of Iraqis have been killed by terrorists than US troops.

And what about the thousands of out U.S. soldiers and the ones from other countries who have joined in to help?

Your question doesn't include our service men and women who have died over there.
All people from all countries have the same worth.
