EVP stands for Electronic Voice Phenomena.

I tagged along with a group of ghost hunters last month and after about 5 hours of audio recording was able to capture two voices. I consider myself a huge skeptic but after my own proof, I'm dumfounded. Now I feel, like I have an energy following me everywhere..

Yes, I have recorded EVP and also videotaped many images that could not be explained by scientific means. I own and operate Flickering Lights Paranormal Investigations and Research (Team Flipper). We have conducted well over a hundred investigations into paranormal activity. EVPs can not be described as radio frequencies since tape and digital recorders do not have a receiver for those such signals. IT IS VERY POSSIBLE FOR SPIRITS TO FOLLOW YOU WHEN YOU LEAVE A PLACE CONTAINING SPIRITS. (Not yelling, just making a point) I use several means of protection when entering an paranormal active place. I do wear a cross, carry a cross and say a prayer of protection before entering the place. Often times, Spirits can attach themselves to someone who think they can communicate with in the physical world. I know "The Sixth Sense" was a movie, but there are many actual situations involved in that film. Now the energy that you are feeling may not be malevolent. In fact, it may be your spirit guide watching over you since you are getting involved in paranormal investigations. I would recommend that you research some books by John Edward and James Van Pragh. John Edward has a series of tapes called "Developing Your Own Psychic Powers". It is full of information and meditation techniques that may help you figure out who is following you and how to help them if that is what they want.

You need to stay away from this. It doesn't matter if anyone has "successfully" recorded an EVP. What matters is what you believe about what happens after death.

If there really were "ghosts", then what the Bible says is a sham. We don't need "salvation" if we all become "ghosts". But the truth, according to the Bible, is that we don't become "ghosts" free to wander about.

We go to Heaven if we've asking Jesus into our hearts or we go to Hell (separation from God) if we haven't. And separation from God does not mean becoming a "ghost".

That recording may have captured two voices of unknown origin, but don't take that as proof of an afterlife. Hundreds of people die every day - where are their voices.

Instead focus on what the Bible says. You'll be glad you did.

you listened to the weather forecast? The most likely explanation is that you either picked up a radio station (any loose wire connected to an amplifier can do that) or you filtered the heck out of white noise. Filtering white noise can produce about anything. I am sure that there is a reason why that phenomenon only occurs on cheap audio recorders, but can't be perceived directly by your ear.
You don't say anything whether the vocalizations made sense and what they said, I think that part would be interesting.

Wow, that's scary.
Can you hear the voice on your own or just feel the energy?
Is it possible to be able to hear it with your own ear?
