Nah tamarow's got confused with multiple personality disorder. Personally I've known some people with schizophrenia and they say it's like a demon possesses them when they go into a psychotic episode. It's a pretty good way of seeing it I guess.

People with schizophrenia can have disturbances acxross any sense modality (visiual, olfactory, gustatory, etc). Many lay peole often confuse schizophrenia with dissociative identity disorder (multiple personality).

Without any additional information, I would guess that the "spirit" belief is a delusion, and would require medication, not to mention therapy with a mental health provider.

you know, you are on to something, if you are referring to yourself...Jesus cast out "demons"..in those afflicted with voices, etc..and science is yet to admit, that this is what it could very well be..case in point, a man in America, many years ago, abused and tortured as a child...started hearing the voices at sixteen years old...he went on to kill four women, thanks to the voices in his head...who would these voices belong to?I believe, that his heart was just a vacumn and he was a vessel for satan...because when he left the country, he met a woman in south america, whose love for God and Jesus, changed the man...and when he got baptized, the voices stopped...this was a bold statement, for God's love and Jesus, cast out the demon within..needless to say, his guilt and remorse made him go back, and admit his guilt...God bless, hoped this helped
