Somebody, somewhere, once said, "The meaning of life is a life of meaning".
I believe that human life is about making the best of our time on earth. This is an ideal that only few come close to realizing but it's important to pursue this goal because, by aiming high, we achieve more than if we had no goal at all.
What exactly is "making the best of our time on earth"? That depends on you. Everybody is unique. You need to find what you enjoy and are good at, then be the best you know how.
Along the way, it would be nice to love and be loved. To have children you're proud of and who are proud of you. This means taking risks and making mistakes as you grow and learn. Hopefully, when you die, your loved ones will be gathered around you and everybody will know that you've lived a full life and that you will live on through the fond memories of those you leave behind.
Your legacy will be people who will follow your example and, bit by bit, generation by generation, make the world a better place.
