I already have DVI-to-HDMI cable, however on the back of the TV, I have no audio input at the DVI board. Are there any switches, conversion mechanisms available to deliver audio for this situation?

On the back of my plasma TV, I have a DVi terminal board:

Audio inputs are located on different board...

The only difference between DVI and HDMI (other than the connector) is that HDMI has audio also. If your source has DVI out, and your display has HDMI in, then the video will be just fine, but the audio has no way to get inserted into the HDMI connector. Your best option would be to run the audio (from your source) to a separate stereo amplifier.

EDIT: Use the audio inputs on the separate board. The TV should accept that if you select "analog" audio input.

There must be some sort of audio input on your TV. It most likely would be the simple red/white stereo plugs; connect them to the analog audio of the device with HDMI output (they should have such an output). You may have to select analog audio output on that device.
