sure is! same with the dumb butts on the boats crossing to florida.
unfortunatly the police have bigger fish to fry when it comes to those sorts of law breakers. that's probly y we don't hear about them being charged with it.

here in delaware a mom was just charged a few months back with it for knowingly driving in to high water, on a road known for flooding, and getting her car stranded with her kids in the vehicle. the fire dpt had to pull them all out. she was charged per child for endangerment.

I agree. There are groups warning the people about the dangers of the deserts and they still take their children. There was a news program about it and they taped a group warning the criminals. They just didn't seem to care and everyone of them proceeded to take their children out into the desert. Must be those "good family values from south of the border" we hear so much about! Besides they know how to make more and they usually can not afford the ones they have so losing a few isn't a big problem.

Cant find articles because our court rooms would b more overfilled w/these cases than they already are, so our gvmt. chooses to let it go just like immigration reform. As for child endangerment, personally i dont know whats worse going through the desert for 3 days or living a life of poverty and in some cases mal nutrition- u take ur pick.

I would say yes it is. The conditions of the desert are not kind to humans in general, but children especially. The heat is awful and can cause heat stroke, not to mention dehydration... Wind storms that occur get sand and dust into thier lungs and that makes it hard for them to breathe. It is not safe for anyone to make a trip that is so dangerous to begin with, but for children it can almost be a death sentence.

****
Just because it can't be prosecuted in the US doesn't mean it can't be considered child abuse. All it means is that there is nothing we can do about it. Children are still suffering, so I would consider it abuse.... And as for smuggling children via cars, that can't be healthy either. Especially if stick the kids into a seat cushion or the other various ways illegals have been caught trying to come here...

I am not saying the illegals should be here period, child or adult.... but the adults have the right to choose to come... the children are just obeying thier parents and doing what they are told. The kids don't really have a choice.

They are endangering the children's lives and should be held accountable, in their own country. We should be able to turn them over to the Mexican government for prosecution. Incarcerating them here only helps them, and of course we'd need to house the children while they are in prison, feeding them, giving them an education. Send them home immediately, and make sure their own government punishes them.

Instead of looking for things to read that backup your viewpoint, look for things that will talk about the issue in general. That's the problem with a lot of you guys that always are looking for biased information. Now, to answer your question, most of them are not brought through the desert. Usually they are smuggled in cars or other mediums of transportation.

Yes it is. But do not worry the libtards will give a pass because they are coming to a better life.

And think we ALL get to give them that with all the free medical, education, and the rest.

THROW THEM OUT.
Make them walk home they walked in they can walk out.

It's outright abuse but as wanda said, they don't have those laws. They don't seem to care one bit about their children there, perhaps it's the reason they have so many, they see them as disposable.
