No Jabs are required but tetanus and hepatitis make good sense. There has been some serious outbreaks of Dengue fever in south east Asia but it is mosquito born and can be defended against by using good repellent and common sense. You will be informed if you are in a bad area in most cases. Careful of the Malaria meds they can be really bad. Almost drove me crazy. Read your warning labels before you take them. Have fun. You are going to one of the best places in the world.

A lot of people will tell you - No, you don't need it. Many people go there without any shots and they seem ok.

But, as the first answerer pointed out, some shots may be a good idea - for precautions. I had Hep A and Typhoid before I went several years ago and it will last me a long time (Hep A need to be done in two doses - but when it is done you are covered for life) . Tetanus is also good idea. Some people take malaria tablets but unless you are going into the jungle area. But if you are going to be in Bangkok and Phuket, this might not be necessary ( as pointed out - good insect repellant may be all that is needed, but get a tropial strength one)

Your most likely threat would be heat exhaustion. Make sure you drink plenty of water. And hat and sunscreen is a good idea too.
If in doubt - consult your doctor.

Have a great trip!
