someone i know is a satanist and actuaclly donates half his check to local foodpantries and other things and is acutally nice to be with but he's a satanist doesn't that mean he's evil?

You got some nerve saying that satanists think having sex with children is ok, especially when half of the priests of this god forsaken world abuse their own because they deprive themselves of what is natural...you narrow minded nobody. Not to mention the 'rest' who breed cults and impregnate their own daughters for the sake of the 'lord'. When was the last time you heard on the news that a satanist was caught for pedophilia compared to the amount of deprived christian priests taking it out on little boys because they continually deprive themselves of what is 'normal' and natural...You really have some nerve...
Satanists don't worship 'Satan', we worship ourselves...
Satan is latin for 'the opposer' (of god), or 'adversary' (of god) which was created by YOUR 'faith'...

I work at a dog shelter and reptile rehabilitation center which is more than I can say for half of 'humanity' which would kill a snake just because it is 'dangerous' or leave a dog to roam around the streets and go about their pitiful little lives...
I actually go out of my way to find the owner of a lost dog, or pick up an injured Tiger snake or Red-Belly Black snake because they are as you say 'God's creatures'...
Hope you get yours buddy...and you will...
Start living and stop dreaming of something you aren't even worthy of.. There will be only 144,000 of 'us' that are reborn and you aren't one of them, so get over yourself and get a goddamned life...
How much money do you donate to charities that don't involve YOUR church or 'lord'??? None I bet...

My husband and that i've got the two been homeless or with a house yet too damaging to purchase lots nutrients (regardless of foodstamps) and we went to the nutrients banks for 'donated nutrients' ... maximum OF IT became no longer sturdy nutrients ... human beings provide 'old' cans they could desire to throw away, broken (smashed) pasta, mixed dried beans that choose diverse quantities of soaking and cooking time ... even vegetables they do no longer pick to eat because of the fact they are wilted and dried out. once I provide to a foodbank (which we do frequently) i circulate to the save and purchase NEW fundamentals ... boxes of pasta (the final they have, too), NEW cans of nutrients, sparkling flour, sparkling vegetables, canned meat and canned juices, infant nutrients in all types ... then I take it and drop it off with a 'i desire this facilitates' and a great smile ... if I carry around, I tell the those that we as quickly as have been the place they are, and we've money now, so we are only 'paying lower back' what we've been given ... and human beings postpone their heads and picture that they are purely 'down for awhile' truly of being 'down continually' ... it is not egocentric to feed a individual who desires nutrients ... an previous individual, a worker, a mom, a father, a new child ... human beings need to circulate to mattress FEELING comprehensive AND understanding they are going to GET comprehensive the following day, WEEK, MONTH, year. I think Satanists can be great people or horrible people, just like everyone else. There are varieties of Satanism but most that I am aware of are in the camp of Satan is not a real, literal being and simply are using the symbolism of Satan. They have a do unto others as they do unto you approach to life. You should read more about it or ask your acquaintance about his beliefs if you want to know what his specific philosophy or beliefs are. Of course there are religious people who believe that anyone who doesn't believe in a God or believe the way they believe is evil so by their definition many people are evil regardless of their acts.

If he's a real Satanist, he doesn't worship Satan as an entity, like Christians worship God.
I am assuming you are Christian. So, if he doesn't really worship the devil, you can't say he's evil because of that, can you?

Religious dogma is evil; Christians burning Women and Children to death because they may be witches is evil. Christian Armies marching into the Middle East killing millions in the name of Christ Is evil. Christians bible bashing youths about being gay and then the youth commits suicide is evil.Christian Priests taking away children's innocence by sexually molesting them is evil.

Do Satanists actually exists? I actually thought the Church of Satan was a parody.
Anyways, Hitler did a lot of wonderful things...helped the economy of his country, probably helped a lot of white arian children and helped make many advancements in medicine..I am sure many people thought he was a hoot to be with....did that make him any less evil?

Satanists aren't evil by default....just like Christians aren't good by default.
With the nonsense some Christians spew about their god, sometimes his adversary is the only good choice.... (either as a philosophy or a theism)
Those who oppose hatred and fear are usually on the "side of angels" regardless of their faith.

Honestly depends on the bias of those who chose to judge. I'm a Wiccan, & we do a monthly food drive to help a groups that helps homeless youth.
BUT BECAUSE I'm not "their" brand of X-ian I'm branded "evil". I believe cause some bigots cannot see past the faith to look at the person's actions.
As with my Ex I advise to look at what they do not what they say.

No, that doesn't mean evil. He chose to worship Satan like others chose to worship God, the sun, cows, chairs....etc. This shows you that there's good in everyone no matter what their religion is and no matter how different they are from us or other people.
