My cat Madeline does that. She loves to lay in my laundry basket on top of my dirty clothes and she also loves to lay on my sweaty clothes from the gym (ew!). I pick her up and take her away and she comes right back.
I think she is attracted to your things b/c it has your scent on them. She can feel like she's close to you without having you there specifically.

Cats do that to get your attention. My cat does that when I am on the computer or sitting on they floor looking through some of my things. Or if I am looking at a book on my bed.

My animals do that too....I think it could be because those objects have your scent on them, they're trying to get your attention, or they're just comfortable. Don't worry about it....just invest in one of those lint brushes to get the cat hair off of your stuff.

If you are trying to read, it wants your attention. If not, they it is because your stuff smells like you and your baby wants to be close to you.
