Visit www.uscis.gov to learn about immigration requirements.

It is much easier to come to the US on a student visa than to find a company to sponsor you for a work visa. The USCIS makes it very difficult and time-consuming for companies to sponsor employees for visas. So, you may want to consider getting a master's degree in the US.

The general rule is that companies cannot "displace" a US citizen by hiring a foreign national. Therefore, the foreign person must have specialized skills and/or education so that the company can prove they aren't able to find an American with those skills. These kinds of employees are usually engineers, scientists, or other highly technical people - not salespeople in lingerie stores (sorry!) :(

If you worked for VS as a senior level accountant, perhaps, or as a commodity manager, or some other sort of role that requires special skills, you might have a chance. Many companies don't even sponsor foreign nationals for employment. I'm not sure if VS is one of them or not.

Good luck!

I am an AmeriKan and I have a Master's Degree from a very well respected university in England.

I can tell you for a FACT that a foreign degree doesn't mean SQUAT to AmeriKan employers... they would rather see a high school diploma from an AmeriKan high school than a Post Graduate degree from a foreign university.

Right now may not be a good time to want to move to the U.S. because I can't imagine that Victoria's Secret can NOT find any AmeriKans who can not do any of the jobs at that company... and that SUPPOSEDLY is the requirement... they have to offer the job to an AmeriKan first and can only off it to a foreigner if they can't fill the job with an AmeriKan.

I particularly doubt it could be important taking a vehicle from Aus to the US. By the time you pay: shipping costs, customs and import taxes, inspection taxes registration or even then you will have get a vehicle with the guidance wheel at the unsuitable facet to be able to rate you extra in coverage. Cars are really low-priced within the US, I are not able to feel it is financially valued at taking a vehicle there from at any place.

You'd need a work visa - see http://www.unitedstatesvisas.gov/ for information.

You might want to broaden out your job goals - Victoria's Secret is just one company and to restrict your search there might make it impossible for you to find a job.

Good luck.
