No.....SUI is the abreviation of "Suisse" (Switzerland in French, one of our 4 official languages). It is widely used as our 3-letter code in Sports broadcasting.

"SUI" is short for "Suisse", or the French name for Switzerland, as has been answered already the other two times you've asked this. The official country abbreviation, as in what is put on license plates, is "CH", which an abbreviation for "Confederacio Helvetica", or the Helvetica Confederation, which refers to present-day Switzerland's first unification in its current form.

No. It's the first three letters of Suisse. Why would Switzerland's official abbreviation be in English (it's weird enough that it's in Latin...but Suisse is French)?
