To use "didn't" you'd have used "felt" and "stood". "I" is in capital case, and "myself" is one word, with period at end of sentence. "Feel" is a stative verb although not in this instance where it's in the Present Simple tense denoting "on each occasion" rather than on a past particular occasion, as might be the case were it in its Past tense "felt". In short, your sentence is phrased in the Present Simple rather than the Past tense.
