Porridge is great with chopped fruit like strawberries on top. You can get microwave porridge that takes 2 1/2 minutes and you could prepare the fruit the night before to save you time in the morning!

If you want to eat a healthy breakfast you need to make sure it is something that is going to sustain you though the morning because if you are hungry in an hour and end up snacking, its pointless!

Try and avoid anything high in fat or sugar. Sugar especially will cause a surge in sugar levels in your blood and you will feel lethargic and need more once it has gone.

A good simple option is cereal that contains plenty of fibre, some fruit and no added sugar. Fruit and Fibre and 'no added sugar' muesli are good options. The fibre is filling, and good for digestion and the carbohydrates in the cereal give you a steady supply of energy throughout the morning. The nuts and fruits offer extra vitamins and some protein.

You can spice things up by adding some fresh/dried fruit and/or a couple of spoons of yoghurt.

Also try and avoid caffeine. Fruit juice or just water are best.

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aMGGi

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

A bowl of all bran +banana. Its just 1 1/4 cup all bran cereal with a cup of skim milk with half a banana sliced on top. As simple as it can get while still hitting all of the health marks needed for the day (low GI carb for all-day energy, a dairy, some protein and fiber.) Happy breakfast!

i'm laughing at the taco bell answer.

i hate american breakfasts, they're so unhealthy. I'd give some cereal a whirl like Special K.. there ya go, with some soy milk. that's pretty damn healthy, with a side of yogurt and a banana. holy crap thats so healthy its insane.

Lots fo fruit first, then a healthy cereal or brown toast. No coffee or sweet sugary things. Muesli or porridge is great & keeps you going all morning without feeling hungry.

Healthy breakfast would be granola bars.I heard some brands have some stuffs in them to reduce risk of heart diseases and diabetes. But then again you have to have a balanced meal of enough nutrients and vitamins. Just eat moderately whatever it is.
