I would get depressed if every time I answered a question and got 10 thumbs down when I was trying to give an honest answer. You guys like being martyrs, don’t you?

No, it doesn't really bother me.

The only thing *I* don't like is when I get thumbs-down for:
1. Simply stating that I'm a Christian, in answer to questions about which religion people adhere to. I don't thumbs-down other peoples' beliefs, why should they do that to me?
2. When I answer a question with facts, which happen to disprove a person's opinion. I just wish I could tell those people, "Hey, yeah, don't let facts stand in the way of your opinion!" And the worst part about it is, people of ALL beliefs do it, and yet SOME people accuse only Christians of not letting facts stand in the way of our beliefs.

And no, I'm not a martyr. I'm just a person who's tired of the hypocrisy.

Christians are the only ones who get thumbs down? I'm an atheist and it doesn't bother me. There are obviously assholes on both sides trying to get the other side down. Don't pay any attention to it. Answer how you want to. Whatever you feel, that's what i do. Sometimes I win and sometimes I loose.

honest answers is one thing! Joking is another thing. I think i can see the difference between these and complete slam and intentional insults.
Insults i ignore at face value. I was once a person that mocked religiousity. And churchosity can be a demented joke by itself.
but when I believed what i read about the gospel of christ and repented, i was visited with spiritual things that only prove there is a God.
Mostly i just ignore such wickedness.

NO!!! ... I'm comfortable with the *quality* of my answers and Thumbs-Downs means I've made an IMPACT! ... I rarely fail to get Thumbs-Ups where I've got TDs.

Wow! I've only been able to get eight. I really don't worry about it. If you've done your best and stuck to your guns then you've got more guts than most people. Every battle leaves its mark.

No. I see them as very juvenile. Kind of like little kids sticking their tongues out at people they don't like. Shows their lack of tolerance and their judgemental attitudes. Very hypocritical too.
