NO Way!
the News host of C2C has a degree in divinity. Even though there are different faiths, there is a lot to be learned by studying Foreign languages such as latin Hebrew or Greek. in studying the history of religion in other languages
With my own studies at seminary, i have learned more about religion than many preachers, and with a self home study I increased my knowleddge of Hidden teachings that common preachers dont know about.
There is a structure in receiving a degree.
but the down side is, that most degrees in theology are biased against knowing OTHER truths as acceptable.
As much as i am against most christian theologies, just for the simple fact that Truth is lost in Political Correctness and Peer pressure, there are still ways to teach truth even though one disagrees.

I could be wrong but I think a degree in theology is not so much a certification that you have read a bunch of religious texts as it is a certification that you are knowledgeable (due to college courses) on the subject of world religions in terms of history, belief systems, cultures, and many things like that.
You could also say that a degree in history isn't something to brag about because it just means you know a lot about stuff that already happened, but these things are important knowledge because they relate to current events in their own way.

Clearly, you've never taken a theology course and experienced the difficultly level it can present. You have to get the answers right on a theology exam, just like with any other course, and it can take grueling research to get it right. Those exams don't generally come in multiple choice format, and every single answer can take multiple pages of writing. Anybody who gets a degree in theology (or philosophy) has bragging rights, as far as I'm concerned.

There's a very fine line between theology and philosophy.
Most "knowledge" other than hard science, is really just pretend.
Religion is not the only thing that requires a certain amount of faith.

A degree in theology is admirable but it is just a title. One just have some additional information and nothing else. Knowledge that is not practice is just information. Knowledge that is applied and practice is called wisdom.

Pretend knowledge?? Is that like artificial intelligence? Knowledge is knowledge, learning is learning - one does not have to agree with what they learn in order to find it interesting and useful - a degree in Theology is NOT easy to achieve, and calling knowledge "pretend" shows your lack of having any on this subject!!

LOL, remember Desiree that is yet to be decided...
As I was trying to say yesterday, If I was brainwashed at least I know who to blame, and I know how to fix it... If you have been brainwashed would you know who to blame, would you know where to start in the pursuit of "real" knowledge... besides the fact that it is a monumental conspiracy theory - I have added another take on the Pascal Wagner theory -----
