'cause in my past question they said to put calamine lotion but should i put it directly in the oozing area? or the place around it?

Calamine has soothing properties and so it helps the itchiness problem arising from chickenpox. You can apply it directly on the chicken pox areas. Do not scratch for it will cause permanent scarring. Hope you'll get better.

There is no evidence to support the topical application of calamine lotion, a topical barrier preparation containing zinc oxide in spite of its wide usage and excellent safety profile

Put it directly on... And if you have chickenpox all over... You can bathe in calamine lotion.
