any kind of fat or dairy like milk or ice cream. I've also read that tomato sauce is good for that. I would not dip your hands in bleach. I've never heard that. But I have heard butter is a good diluter of spiciness. You could also try vegetable oil or any kind of oil Because any fat binds to the capsacium in the peppers. good luck.

Yes, a dairy product should relieve the discomfort. You may also try vinegar and see if it helps too.
Next time though, use a pair of rubber gloves when working with items that you are sensitive to. You can get them at most stores and they're pretty cheap. The kind they wear at the deli counter should work nicely.

Milk, or even washing your hands with Dawn would help. Just don't do what I did once... cut some up for salsa, then had to go to work and needed to put my contact lenses in....WHOA.
I felt like I was back in the tear gas chamber in boot camp. NOT fun.

Gma said to use Carnation canned milk one time when my hands were on fire and had under nails also. Worked for me- poured over then soaked.
