In English, to express the love between man and woman, or btween parent and children or between siblings, or between people in genral, is the same, "LOVE".
Isn't it better communicated in Indian languages, using different words ?Are we not rich in our language and vocabulary?

I'll just give an outsider perspective...

Language reflects the culture of the people... but that does not mean that a differences in the vocabulary in one language make it inferior...

I mean, it just happens that vocabulary/lexicon is enriched by how that culture view something that has an arbitrary label termed as a "word". Furthermore, there is really no superiority in language and all has its beauty... I know nothing about Indian languages, but all I can say is that all langauages are special, most especially to people who bear it.

The Indian languages are just as special as the English language, and has its own beauty and richness. But still, I admire you for appreciating your own language... that's nice.

P.S. By the way, this comes for my appreciation of English as a langauge, eventhough its not my primary language... Filipino is (although I can't use it becuase we won't understand each other). In Filipino, sana nakatulong ako. :-)

Language is surely a factor in keeping a nation together. But not a necessity. India is the best example for that. So language is only one of the factors!!!!!
