Instead of buying that new yacht, or Harley, or going on that vacation to Disney land----why not give to the homeless? Why not make a donation to cancer research? We all could do alot more. The homeless are a reminder, that we are not coming together as God's people and giving of the wealth that he has given us. They suffer because we do not share.
If you are going to blame God for all the suffering, then you should put aside your arrogance and realize that you must blame God for all the love, joy, and happiness as well.

Je----Stating that God is perfect---does not give him the obligation for his creatures who have free will to be perfect. We are imperfect because we make imperfect decisions. If we strived to be more perfect, as God is perfect---the world would be a better place.

If we only we did half of what you suggest the world would be a better place. They say that God has no hands ;so we must be His hands. There are people who are doing things like that ,running hospitals and orphanages.A lot more needs to be done.

Let me start off by saying I agree with your sentiment. We do need to share, we do need to give money to the homeless, we shouldn't spend wastefully. It would be wonderful if people donated to cancer research.

But ... I believe we need to help these causes ourselves. God plays no part in this. Our world is filled with inequality. When we give to the poor, we end suffering and bring joy. If you think God is the cause of that, thats fine with me. But I think God is a limiting factor, one could easily say that if God wanted it done he would do it himself. I don't see any evidence of God in my life, but I live compassionately anyways.

First of all, God does not need any help from us. His will is being done. God allows the human condition to continue so that there is not a single doubt that humans can live happily on earth by themselves without him. In the hour of that great day, when God will make himself known, all will be set right.

Hi Sweetie,

I totally agree with you on this one. If people would stop being so closed minded and self involved, and blaming everyone else, God included, for the problems of the world and would help to fix it, then this would be a better world for all of us.

By putting Yacht, Harley and vacation into the premise of your question you left out a tremendous potential audience. There are plenty of poor hypocrites as well.
