The ps3 has many more games such as; uncharted, mgs 4, tekken 6, FF XIII, FF VS XIII, warhawk, afrika, heavenly sword, lair, ratchet and clank FTOD, eye of judgement, eyedentify, new NFS, etc, all xbox 360 has coming are mass effect, bioshock and hyped up halo 3.

Both consoles are about the same, apart from the fact that the PS3 has a blueray player built into it. Games are what will seperate these two console titans, and the developers of these games. It will be a close call, because both consoles will have access to most of the titles available with only a few actually aligned to one console specifically.
I believe the PS3 will win the race by a nose, as games like MGS4 and Tekken 6 and of course the Final Fantasies from 13 upward will only be available on the PS3. Halo has had its time, the Xbox should invent something better if it wants to keep its place at the top.

Considering that as of right now the most advanced PS3 game is only using 20% of the PS3's raw power, I would say the PS3 will be the clear winner in a few month's time.
As usual, someone had to bring up HALO for the 360... but let me ask you this.... ok, HALO... then what?? Where's the 360's lineup of upcoming true NextGen games??
HALO is just ONE game... not to mention that not everyone is a First Person Shooter fan. On the other hand, the PS3 has 380 titles scheduled for release between now and March 2008 covering ALL GENRES not just First Person Shooters.
The PS3 will be the clear without a doubt.... I just can't wait for it to happen! :)

the ps3 will win, because of all the potential it has. The 360 is winning now because it has reached its full potential, the ps3 is using 16gb out of 50. so when the ps3 is at full potential, Games like resistance, which is better than a lot of 360 games right now, will be 3 times better. But only time will tell.

PS3. the hardware potential hasn't even been tapped by game developers yet. Meanwhile, the Xbox has pretty much topped out it's capacity given it's 4 year old technology.

PS3 pretty much kick X-box's butt in every part of the gaming experience, but the price difference might not be worth it.
