In Quraan, the Muslims book, God is telling us about atheists like yourselves standing in the Judgement Day scared to death from God 's punishment and pleading for another chance to go back to this life to start believing all over. This chance which will be denied as God has vowed. Can't you consider the chance you already have in hand as you are still alive.

So, I rest my case before God.
Now he knows that I have warned you.
See you (God knows where)

Salah, why would I fear a character from a fictional story? I do not even believe that human beings exist after they die - why would I fear that a character from a fictional story might decide to torture me after I am dead?

If you think I should seriously be afraid that a being whom is supposed to be the creator of the universe has nothing better to do with an eternal life and infinite power than to torture dead people for not believing some strange stories that were collected together by a tribal leader who thought telling scary stories was a good way to make his people do things the way he wanted... Then I think that maybe you should be more worried about wasting the time -you- are spending during your time on the earth and stop worrying about what I do or do not think.

An Athiest never was a part of a religion that killed thousands of innocent people, including children, by flying a plane into a building. No offence, but if I had to choose between being a Muslim and being Athiest when I stand before God, I would choose to be Athiest any day of the week!!!

Pretty much every religion has a clause like this. It is meant to terrify the ignorant into believing. If there was only one god story it would maybe have some credibility, but since a wide variety of religions have this it means that whichever god exists he is going to punish at least 2/3rds of humanity. That doesn't sound very reasonable or loving. Therefore, all are false.

If Al-Qu'ran is an accurate telling of Allah's Will and Existence...

I would rather go to the Fire than worship such a vile, evil, repulsive being. I would rebuke such a being to his face and walk to the Fire willingly, because my being a good, moral, honest person is far more important to me than an afterlife.

I deny the existence of the god of Adam, the god of Abraham, the god of Moses. Period.

So... tell me.

When you die and Anubis rips your heart from your chest and approaches the Scales with your heart in one hand, and a feather in the other...

... will *YOU* know how to recite the 42 Denials?

I feel so, so sorry for you if you don't.

Nope... I'm not scared of that at all because I don't believe it will happen. If I believe there was a god and that that scenario would actually happen, I might be scared. But I don't, so I'm not.

I think it's awful that religions preach that to their followers. That others who don't believe like them will be burned, killed, mutilated, etc. on "judgement day." I would NEVER worship a being who would do that.

Bla, bla, bla, I am a Wiccan not an Atheist, but even so I still get this judgement day BS thrown at me all the time...
There is no God, no Allah and no judgement day, and very soon all your beliefs will be exposed for the BS that they are..
We are entering The Shift now, so hang on to your books of terror, soon they will be museum pieces...
Blessed Be... )O(

Your question is meaningless. We are Atheists. The god(any god scenario does not play). A silly question really without substance. Conditional clauses in imaginary situations.

Ever heard of free will?
In this day and age you WILL NOT scare anyone into submission. If people are smart enough to say they are atheists, they're smart enough to support their beliefs against people like you.
