I've already put on Gold Bond, but heals more than making it stop itch. And it will take at least 2 days before it's healed. In the mean time, how do I stop it from itching?
And another additional question: How come sometimes Mosquito Bites just appear, and you didn't even relize you were bitten?

Sometimes you don't know that you were bitten because if you are busy doing something, you often don't feel the light touch of a mosquito landing on you.

As dumb as this is going to sound, just ignore them. The more you itch them, the more they itch, and I've found that even if I go out into the woods without repellant, I only get a handful of bites and so long as I don't itch them, it is ok.

If that doesn't work for you, try gently applying calamine lotion or benadryl lotion with a q-tip. You only need just a dab. Better yet, just rinse the bitten area with cool water occasionally. It works, and that way you don't have to spend money on medicine. Ice cubes can work too, but they tend to get all over the place when they melt.

Tea Tree Oil is usually the best thing for it. It's natural and a very potent antiseptic.

It can help with bites - such as yours - boils and wounds, and best known for sunburn and bee stings.

Just get a cotton bud, dip it into the oil and lightly rub it into the area of the bite.

But don't take it internally, the symptoms may cause some drowsiness.

And because you don't realise or feel being biten, you never know until you start to feel the itchiness come along.

And if you still cannot stop stratching the bite, put a band aid over the top, it heals as well as stops you.

Hope this helps

Mosquitos are elusive little critters. Some attack in silence, while others scream their presence.

Home remedy - for temporary relief of itching - numb the area with an ice cube, repeatedly if you have to.

Medication - I use Ora-gel or Numzit (numbing medicine for the mouth in child or adult versions) A drop applied to the itchy spot will give you about 20 minutes of relief. That's usually enough time to get to sleep, or atleast to forget about it for awhile.
