my friends and family and sometimes random people say that I'm pretty and that I'm not fat, I'm normal weight, but I don't get it. My friends are always telling me about somoe guy that asked if I'm single or something. If I'm supposedly pretty and not fat, than why hasn't any guy ever asked me out?

I can relate to this question because friends and strangers would always tell me that I was pretty. Similarly, I also never got any date invitations.

I never understood how my not-so-pretty friends got dates and I didn't...that is, until earlier this year. I realized that even though I was pretty, I was unconsciously giving off 'damaged goods' signals to the guys. I was acting like something was wrong with me.

I wouldn't look them in the eye, I had bad posture, and no one ever noticed me when I came in the room because all i wanted to do was be 'invisible.' I wanted to walk in a room shyly and miraculously have guys hang all over me.

It doesn't work that way.

If you want guys to notice you, you have to display that you're NOT 'damaged goods' and show that there's nothing wrong with you and be confident in their presence. Then, and only then, will they ask you out on dates.

You have to look them in the eye, smile, and have fun with it. Think of it as: You're the hunter and they're your prey and not the other way around.

Well, people can spot a confident person from a mile away. If you have to ask, you must be self-conscious, and the right kind of guy doesn't want a girl that doesn't see how great she is. So, if you want a guy that treats you the way you deserve to be treated, you need to learn to get a bit more confidence.

You might never give a guy a chance. If you run in and out of places quickly, not guy has a chance to approach you. Also if you give any guy the evil eye in public, other guys see that and avoid you. You might aslo want to go out alone, don't travel in a pack of people. You might also want to get out more in general, no guy can ask you out if your sitting at home.

Take a chance. Give him a chance Break the ice with one you like. Don't ask him out but talk to him.
