It could be a number of things, or nothing to worry about.
It could be digestive problems, or you could of stretched a muscle or something like that. Have you done any strenuous exercise or lifting etc.?
Get some Aloe Vera Juice at most health food stores and directions are on the bottle.
Fight off the fear because that will also tighten your chest as it attacks your bronchial tubes, and can effect your breathing, Peace to you.
Of course you can feel your heart beating in your chest....that is where it is. Sometimes when I do a lot of walking or exercising I even feel my heart beating in my legs, and I am walking in divine health.
Also if you are drinking a lot of milk and eating cheese and ice-cream etc. it can start plugging you up with mucas. Let me know if you would care to.

Hi. I'm a Licensed Practical Nurse. Please get to your Dr. ASAP. This can be a sign of "pressure" which is more vague in women than in men, and could be a heart problem, especially if it moves to your throat, shoulder or jaw. If you are breathing heavily when this happens, it could be an anxiety attack, which your Dr. can also help you with. Don't fear going to the Dr. or sounding "dumb", better be safe than sorry, and there are now very easy remedies for most heart problems if you catch them early. Blessings! Penlady

There is no medicine for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation;
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.
Acupuncture is the best treatment.
