Tony Stewart and Montoya also can ruin a race.
I wasn't there, but sorry you had your driver wrecked over some idiot.

It's racing
.Things happen and we all point the blame finger at everyone else.
Sure Junior had a good car and should have a good finish. But as with Kasey Kahne was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

I believe I see what all the other drivers know about T. Stewart. When he pits and gets four new tires, he comes out very, very aggressive. The first five laps on fresh tires is the best and safest opportunity to make up track position.

That's the luck of the draw. It does make a long day when your fav driver is out early.

I have to disagree with most responders, Tony could not have avoided hitting Hamlin, hamlin checked up coming out of 4 and there was no where to go...What happened was bad but if Tony had slowed as well, more carnage would have occurred still taking out valuable drivers

All Tony's fault. Smoke has been driving a tad recklessly all season. I think he is realizing his season clock is ticking. He took out 2 solid cars at the beginning of the race ... huge disappointment.

it was both their faults... hamlin hit the brakes at the exit of turn 4... you dont do that! especially when you're leading. even though he's a very good race car driver, that shows how he still is kinda new to this. now yes, stewart was very aggressive, he could've taken it easy, especially since it was the beginning of the race, and could've afforded to lose a spot or two, to save himself and his teammate. he had ample time to react (slowdown a bit, or even better, go high.)

as for them causing Dale Jr. to wreck... thats not entirely true. its the fault of the guy who punted bobby labonte into Jr., not so much stewart and hamlin, even though their crash caused all 41 cars behind them to brake and scatter.

Yeah and then Tony has to blame everything on Denny.

That was really exciting but not as good as hearing them in the interview.

Who cares? Accidents happen. It's over with, get over it, I am pretty sure Jr will, seeing that him and Tony are real good friends.

And the Jr. fans find yet another excuse and something more to cry about. Looked like Stewart pulled a Sr. move.
