I feed ALL of my animals ample amounts of food (based on their weight) twice a day. But my kitten is ALWAYS hungry!! He eats all of his food, goes to my other cat's dish (who is overweight, so he has separate food) and eats his AND THEN STILL manages to polish off (or atleast steal) some of my other two dogs food. I don't get it! Anytime he sees me even walking anwhere close to where he gets fed, he PLOWS through the house like he has never eaten before.

He has all his up to date shots, he has been dewormed, and he is a seemingly healthy cat othewise. I only feed him healthy, organic, human grade food... so it's not like I am giving him crap that never fills his belly! I am not worried... it just gets expensive! But should I be worried?

He is at a good weight... not too fat, not too skinny. And it is not just quite a bit of food... it is a ridiculous amount! I only adopt shelter cats and this is the first kitten I have ever had, so maybe I am just not used to it?

My cat is like this too! Don't worry! My cat is only 10 pounds and he's almost 2 years old. Unless he starts gaining weight rapidly then you should take him to a vet. My friend's cat had this problem and he went on a special diet. Like I said, if he's not gaining weight or getting fat, then there's nothing to worry about. But, if he is, then bring him to a vet. Also, please don't let him eat anything poisonous! Hope I helped you! Good luck! (I own 2 cats)

Some cats are good eaters, he just likes food and will probably get heavy. If he gets to heavy put the food on the clothes dryer if he is too fat to jump he will need to lose enough to jump up.

Your kitten may just be hungry and growing. Remember, pets are like kids, they can get expensive.

Yet even if this seems to be normal bring your kitten to the vet. The vet may be able to prescribe you something that may help his food urges, or even prescribe you a more 'filling' diet.
