how can i apologize to my mother and show/tell her that I really really mean it?

we have just gone through a very very very very very big fight, and she started to even talk about me getting a foster parent! it's THAT bad!

of course, i've said the words, "sorry" but that just doesnt seem to be enough!

I really dont have enough guts or money to go walk to the local counselor and discuss my options, or what i can do.

Plus, I'm way too scared of death to commit suicide. Yes, I'm a coward.

PLEASE HELP EVERYONE! IM IN HELL!

I am 15 years old.

I am going to answer this the way I would if my daughter, who is also 15 and I had a big fight.
First of all, maybe writing her a letter to apologize would be good- sometimes seeing things in writing can help- I have written letters saying I am sorry before and they usually are accepted better then just a quick "I am sorry"
If my daughter had a huge fight, I would never tell her she needs another mother- no matter how bad things get- she is still my daughter- the one that God placed in our family. Whatever the 'argument was over' does not really matter- the fact is she is part of the argument. Is there anything that she did to make it worse? I think so- it takes 2 -
It sounds really bad if you even mentioned the word suicide. Do you have a friend that you are close to that has a parent that may help and intervene. If things are REALLY bad counseling for both you and your mom might be a good idea. If you can email, I would love to talk more-

You can show her by your behavior. That doesn't mean changing for a day...but changing for a lifetime. Don't even consider suicide..it's a permanent solution to a temporary problem. I'm not sure why you had the big blow up, but think about what happened and what you can do to be a better person.

Write her a letter about how you feel about her. Apologize to her in the letter but tell her that you understand that apologies are just words and you hope she will give you the opportunity to change your behavior. Ask for her help and then do it. Good luck.
