Think it might be time for the two of you to go your separate ways? Been wondering if your relationship is going to blossom or bomb? I've been there and done that. Me and my ex decided to go on our separate ways due to some conflicts on our schedules since we're both living on a different continent and the fact that we are both busy on our jobs. I've been married 25 years to the same woman. It's my second marriage. I was in my first for 15 years, and divorced my first wife because of her infidelity.
I think you've done the wise thing, and perhaps were wise to delay a more permanent relationship--such as marriage--as you and your ex took your lives on different courses. Hopefully you might have been able to at least preserve a friendship.

I am on my third marriage. The first left me after 20 years, second I called quits after 12 years because of Irreconcilable differences (she became a member of a cult which became more important than family). The third marriage is heaven and I think will last but who knows what will happen in 20 years time?
