So I finally worked up the courage to ask the guy I like out to the movies, and he said yes and asked for my # and called me the next day. We went to the movies and it was pretty fun...we talked a lot and we were the only 2 there in the theater for a while. He said something like "We have the theater to alll to ourselves and we can do whatever we want" and like winked at me. He took my cell phone and put his number into it, and after the movie he walked with me to my car and sort of hugged me. He hasn't called or IMed or anything since then though, and it's been almost a week. He's kind of quiet and introverted though, so maybe he's just shy. But I'm not sure... what do you guys think? Is he interested in me at all? (and does it really mean anything when the guy accepts the girl's invitation to go out somewhere?)

We women tend to make excuses for our men's behavior all the time..like well, he's probably really busy at work, or he's just shy...
But when a man wants something, he goes and gets it. A car, a job, a new phone... men are direct. Way more direct than we women will ever be.
A great book, easy read....called "Maybe he's just not that into you". Harsh but true. Itwill keep you from making a fool of yourself.
If you can't afford to buy it, just go to Barnes and Noble and site and read it.

I think if you feel good about your date then it may have went pretty good. Since you asked him on the date and since he put his number in to your phone, he may be waiting for you to call him. It makes sense. You did ask him on the date. He may figure that since you started the connection and it is going good so far, he will just let you control the pace of things instead of taking the chance on being too aggressive and loosing you. I think you should give him a call.

hey he definately is interested in u...i dun understand y do we still sit confused even after we hv got the hint...he went out with u n he even tlked cute wid u n wen u know he is introvert then whr is the problem??? its very much possible tht he is feeling the same and is waiting fr u to do smthing...so call him up again n ask out fr a movie...all the best!!

I'd just call him or IM him saying, "Hi" and thanks for a fun evening. Perhaps you can ask him out?
If you get nothing from him, then he's made his point -- he's not interested. If so, go out and find a guy who will call you and IM you because he likes you.

i think he's waiting for you to call him...and yes he's into you. why else would he give you his number and walk you out?

He is super shy and very into his own interests. get interested in what he is interested in and you can see him more.
