Remove that which separates you from God, your self-image. Love completely. Expect nothing and search after God with all your being. Get to the point where there is nothing more important to you than the truth, whatever that is, and your love of God and all that God is.
The rest is like riding an avalanche. It's fairly easy in a way.

Don't you hate not to know an answer such as why am I here, where did I come from and where am I going??? Well not trying to be all preachy but LDS people can help you answer these questions. We believe that God is our savior and that if we live as best as we can, then we will get to go back to him. I'm not the most knowlegable but I do believe, and I have faith. Maybe pray and ask for help. You will get an answer, even if it takes time. Also go around and talk with other religious groups, including LDS people. I hope I can help more if needed

He created the world so we could have fee will. Only one fourth of the souls come here. (The less intelligent one,-that's us) The rest are enjoying eternal loving relationships with God also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. You can go back to Him at the end of life if you follow the prescribed process. The Process for this age is to chant the Holy name of God no matter what your religion. The maha mantra is the most recommended mantra for the age (names of God) Other process like mystic meditation and chanting Om where recommended for other ages. But people are short lived and less intelligent and too busy in this day to do those processes. They can take thousands of lifetimes to perfect. Where the maha mantra can bring to full Self realization in this life. One can even be fully conscious of God before they return to the eternal Kingdom of God. That is true self realization. Other processes only bring one to the impersonal aspect of God (Brahman) that is His light energy. I prefer Him directly. Gauranga! -May the greatest good and highest joy be yours.

God created this world to make his appearance before his creatures. and to tell them about his magnanimity. And human being were given life as a test so that can be checked who will will do good deeds.
As far how it was created we have no power/ piety to ask him, but he himself has replied for this in his own words in Quran:
When he want to make something he says, "Be" and it is present.
and also:
Ask them: “ Do you really deny the One Who created the earth in two periods and do you set up rivals in worship with Him while He is the Rabb of the worlds. He set upon the mountains towering high above its surface, He bestowed blessings upon it and in four periods provided it with sustenance according to the needs of all those who live in it and ask for it. Then He turned towards the sky, which was but SMOKE, He said to it and to the earth: ‘Come forward both of you willingly or unwilling,’ and they submitted: ‘ We shall come willing’. So, from this creation, He formed the seven heavens in two periods and to each heaven He ordained its laws. He adorned the lowest heaven with brilliant lamps and made it secure. Such is the design of the Al-Mighty, the All-Knowing”. Now if they turn away, say to them: “I have given you warning of a thunderbolt, like the thunderbolt which struck Ad and Thamud”-Quran;41-9…13)

God created the world so that we could develop spiritually (ie gain greater light, knowledge and joy). We can go back to Him if we atune our own wills to His... His will is only that we become as He is (spiritual, loving, just, etc). We need to overcome our worser selves, and we can do this through faith in Jesus Christ. Our faith is evidenced by our willingness to try and become like Him (full of love, wisdom, perception, willingness, humility, courage, justice, etc). While we do our best, Jesus Christ makes up the difference.

God created Adam for being his companion. He created the universe for man. but man sinned and God cannot tolerate sin because the result of sin is death. So He send his only son JESUS CHRIST to die on the cross which was SUPPOSED TO BEour punishment for sinning. He did that to save everyone who believes that "Jesus christ is the son of God and he died on the cross and rose again on the third day ".if YOU believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that jesus christ is lord then you will be saved if you do this then on a particular day when God comes you will be with him and will meet Him . for more info read the Bible READ CINDYS ANSWER ALSO.

There no question of going back to him...
He created us for only one purpose which all the religions preach...i.e.
LIVE , LET LIVE...
the root principle of all the religions what teaches you is this on only [ I am sure...] what ever you read....live happily and let others [ all living and non livings ] live happily with out harming them...
He doesn't want us to back ....
If so What is the purpose of creating this wast world....

He creates the world daily. So, I may better know myself. To grow in trial and joy is a daily goal. I must return to Lord there is no other way. To return to that which I came may be a long journey. I must unfold the mysteries in me that reveal the Lord is in me. By showing love and kindness to all creatures, I am honoring the Lord that lives in them. By seeing the Lord in all things, He becomes clearer to me from within. You knew these things.
