Its a Cannon power shot. When you take the picture it just turns black for like a minute. And when it shows the picture its all blurry and its really bright, and you can barely tell what it is. Its a setting and i dont know how to get it off of that setting. Whats wrong with it and how do i fix it??? thanks.

There isn't anything wrong with it. You turned the camera to one of the manual modes called Shutter Priority (TV) or Time Value. You can just turn the mode dial to get out of this mode. If you want to shoot using the full automatic mode you turn the mode dial to the green icon. I suggest you read your manual at least once.

Sounds like the automatic exposure is turned off. When it's on, the shutter should open and close quickly in bright light, and slower for darker situations. If it's staying open too long, you'll get overexposed (too bright) and blurry pics.

Looks for settings with "AE" in the name (check your manual to.) If all else fails, they should be able to take care of it at the store without having to par for repair.

TV Is "Time Value" (Shutter Priority)The Shutter Speed Is Set Too Slow. You Need To Use The Menu To Change To "P" (Program) Setting

You may have the camera on a certain setting. For example, you have it on outdoor mode when you're taking an indoor shot. So try and change the image mode (auto mode, night shot, outdoor, ect...) and that should fix the problem.

If you cannot figure out how to read the manual, just remove the batteries overnight. It will discharge its circuits and in the morning it will be reset back to factory default settings.
