This may not be the answer you want so you may not want to read it.
I think the key word is assumption. As so many have pointed out people are complex and can not be conformed into little boxes.
I believe the reason many think people in the prolife movement are prowar is because so many people who profess to be one is the other. The majority of prolifers are strong followers of the conservetive movement and the conservitive movement has been prowar for quite some time.
The ironic thing about being prolife and prowar is that one is against killing unborn children but for killing adults as well as born and unborn children.
The problem is that those who vote prolife are voting into power those who are both prolife and prowar. For all of canidates who say they are against abortion what have they done to outlaw it. Nothing! but prolifers keep voting for them anyway. Now we have a truly driven war monger in office and most of those who voted him into power did so because of the abortion issue. Now look where our country is! More human are being killed everyday in Iraq and Afganistan and abortion is still legal.
For all of you who talk about the sanctity of life and killing innocent unborn babies, how many of you have adopted one or more of the "millions" of children who are living in foster care or group homes in this country, children who have no family capable or willing to care for them? Why don't those who claim to be prolife spend their energy, time and money caring for the sanctity of the children already born and living? Once all of those children have safe and loving homes then you can spend your time telling other people how to live their lives and what to do with their bodies.
So here you have my two cents or so (like it or lump it)

Hooray another non-Republican, non-Democrat middle of the roader. Any time anyone stops a beating heart they are killing a person - abortion or war.
If all women had the right to decide for themselves - most women would choose life - the fact that someone else wants to make their decisions is what makes some so stringently "pro-choice". I really wish we had a law against war - against killing (aborting, really) our young men and women when it serves politics and business and does nothing to improve the human condition.
BTW - I am pro-life, anti-war but I really want women to be the ones to choose life. Guess I want the best of everyone to shine through. Guess I'm going to be disappointed.

Pro Life means all life is sacred from conception to natural death. I am not a Pro War person, but I will be supportive of our troops that are there. These people are family and friends, and I pray for their safe return.
Peace be with you.

Because many people who claim to be pro-life when it comes to abortion *are* pro-war, at least the vocal and powerful ones.
I say this as a pro-lifer who wants to get us the hell out of Iraq.

The same reason pro-choicers are all assumed to be tree-hugging liberals. . . wanting to put people into convenient little boxes in order to deny the fact that most people are complex.

I really don't care what you are. I'm prochoice and what I do with my body is my own decision. I'm also anti-war. As I'm sure most intelligent people are. No one WANTS war. No one smart, anyway.
