My pit had complications after having the puppies, there was a blockage in one of her nipples (I think it was bacterial or something). We gave her meds and had to fed the pups without her help. We sold the puppies shortly after that, however her nipples still have not gone back to normal. Is this normal?? I really am not sure. If not what do I need to do? People stop us and ask where her babies are, so it makes me think that it is not normal. Please help.

If she wasn't in very good shape prior to breeding, and she hasn't been brought back to good shape after they'll hang alot afterwards.. The better condition she is in before being bred and getting good exercise afterwards she'll come back together better..

Some dogs that have had puppies never go back to normal totally, or it could take a long time. She will probably never have the nipples that she had before the puppies. This is normal.

Yes, can be quite normal. Some dogs never get their "girlish" figures back again! :)
