Definitely tell your parents! You have nothing to be ashamed of. You didn't do anything wrong.

Yes, I would. You don't know what could happen with medical complications later. Also, these kids need to be prosecuted. I'd also look into taking some self-defense classes.

Put some ice on the bruise to keep swelling down, and avoid aspirin, as it can thin the blood. Then once swelling goes down, soak in some Epsom salt, to help minimize the bruise.

I'm in martial arts and use this a lot to help my bruises from double man forms and contact self-defense.

James,
Yes you should tell your parents, no one should ever put there hands on anyone. At what ever age, you would not want it to happened to anyone else you might be saving someone else life. You did not deserve what happened to you and am sorry it did, just imagine if something did happened and your parents could not get to you how do you think you mother would feel knowing her son was hurt somewhere and did not know where to start looking for you. You may need to get check you and yes do report it. You parents would be proud of you for going to them then hiding this from them your there son and they love you with all there heart even when we make mistakes.

Tell your parents, right away. You may need to go to the doctors to be checked out. Being kicked severely, especially in the stomach and head can be very dangerous.

Good luck, and try and stay away from these bullies if you can.

I think that yo should. I know it is hard, and you may feel less that for opening your mouth. In all honesty, it takes a brave mature individual to go to someone and ask for help. Your parents would want to know. There could be something physically that needs to be monitored.

Talking to your parents will also let them know you are mature and growing up. The fact that you would trust them to share, would mean a lot.

Looking at your own future situation, would you want your child to tell you? Would you want to be trusted with their feelings, and be able to give them what they need?

Tell them straight away you need to go to the hospital and make sure you dont have any serious injuies.
Then your parents should contact the police and charge them little pricks.
If you dont do anything they will keep doin it as they will think your a easy target.
Good Luck Mate

Tell them.

I am a Mom and my daughter is 16 and I know that sometimes I can over react but I would feel horrible if she felt that she couldn't come to me in a situation like that. As the Mom I am the one she is supposed to go to.

I'm very sorry you got beat up. Yes, tell your parents. You need to let an adult take a hold of the situation so that it doesn't happen again.

You may have internal injuries and you should be checked out right away. Also, it is best at your age to talk with your parents. You might even consider asking them if you can take karate lessons with those kind of kids around.

Yes, tell them. Sometimes you have to swallow your pride and do what is right. If something happened to you in the night, they would not know what to tell anyone. At least if you told them, then they can tell the medical team what happened and they know what they would be looking for.

That was a "what if", don't take it the wrong way.
