Try putting the water dish inside a dishpan. She may still knock it over --some cats love to play in water -- but at least the spill will be contained.

Maybe the water dish is to narrow and or to deep. If the whisker's hit the side of the dish during drinking, it may annoy the animal and it tries to push the dish aside, and that is why it tips over. If this is not the case, take the water away for a while after your kitten is finished drinking. The kitten does learn that there is no more water when she or she plays with it, and the problem is solved.

I had that subject additionally. apparently, whilst my cats pushed the dish, the ripples of the water meditated on the partitions whilst the gentle struck it on the best attitude mandatory. So, I used an 8 inch baking pan, heavy glass, and now no longer does the water get spilled. of direction, toys do get dunked, yet that would ensue with any dish. So glass dishes like pie baking dishes, etc. could serve your applications. i could suspect dishes in stands could desire to nonetheless be pushed, on account that they only have a small footprint section on the floor to furnish resistance to pushing.

There are bowls that are attached to a matt that cannot be turned over.... kinda like a toddler plate. Otherwise, just don't put much water in it, and then if she knocks it over, it won't matter much.
When she knocks it over, don't refill it immediately. Make her understand that she will not get more water for awhile.
I think she is trying to communicate with you, but I don't know what she is trying to say except maybe she's seeing how many times you will refill the water bowl. ;D

Get one of those dishes that can't be knocked over. The ones with the rubber bottoms and curves over. Make sense? I need one for my pup. She does the same thing. It's aggravating!

get a heavier dish. like glass. Although that might make a bigger mess. Get one with the rubber on the bottom.

Why don't you go and find a rock, wash it clean and put it into the dish. This will anchor it down
