doesnt it piss you off that even if you are right about there being no afterlife, youre not going to be able to say "i told you so"

is there some sort of 10 second window where you can laugh in my face after we die or is it going to be " all dressed up and nowhere to go"(you in your coffin)

Nope. I'll be dead, and none of that will matter.

I'm not in the business of "I told you so." That matters not one whit. The issue of being right about that topic is more about how I live my life now, not getting one up on you or on anyone else. Once I die, my life processes stop, and for all intents and purposes, I will cease to be, just as it was that 53 years ago, I didn't exist either, except as a set of chemicals that have temporarily come together to comprise my body. Those chemicals will go on to other uses. I will be done with them.

There's no window, no sign that says "the end". You simply die, then you're dead.

And no, it doesn't, because what I want to do is not show you I'm right when you're on your deathbed - the problem with religion is all the damage it does, and by that point you're not going to be able to harm anybody ever again anyway.

I am an atheist, and I believe in an afterlife.

Time to expand your understanding of atheists. The only common factor is lacking a belief in gods. Nothing else is a given.

Only for certain people.

I'd love to laugh in Falwell's face. I'd also like to see Bush's reaction to finding out he ain't going to Heaven.

I guess so, so I'll just have to tell you now. I told you so.

I'm being cremated, so I don't guess it matters if I wear jeans or a dress, it's hard to make that out from the ashes.

Well, yes, we won't have the chance to say, "Neener, neener, neener, I told you so." You True Believers have that one on us. I guess we'll just have to compensate by enjoying the pleasures of the flesh while we're still alive and not waste our time with religion...
