1. the ring is a reflection on him, so he don't want to be a diamonique giver, maybe he thinks you deserve better than that.
2.any type of diamond like ring means a certain level of commitment that he is not ready for.
3.don't compare yourself by what she got,it's not important.
4, MAYBE he wants to surprise you at the appropriate time.
Stop discussing this type of thing with him, ie don't ask.
It is perfectly ok for you to buy yourself any kind of diamonique you like, and wear it on your right hand--called a right hand ring.
and as long as you're not committed to him by a ring, you are free to do as you please, so he better wake up and try to keep you happy if he wants to keep you, or someone else will be more than happy to buy you a real engagement ring!!

No, Wait, He's thinking that a diamonique is fake, and he doesn't want to get you something fake. He's really a good guy, because he is waiting to get you something real, because you are worth it. If he gets you that, people are gonna ask you where u got it, and is it real. When you say no, it will make him look bad. Wait till the real thing baby.

Make sure he realizes that all Diamonique rings are "Non-conflict".
I've probably gotten my wife a 6-pack of Diamonique rings in my lifetime.

The past woman doesn't matter. It's all about YOU now, and right now - maybe he's been thinking about it, but he's just not ready to ask you yet? Are you more concerned about the dimond ring or are you more concerned about YOUR life? Do you want to get married for the right reasons or just for the ring?
...remember, this is about you too. You're the one getting married to him. Do you feel he's got too much baggage? Just key questions before you jump ship...

Wow, I'm sorry, but that's really shallow. There's more to a relationship than jewerly. You might think you're way batter than his ex-wife, but he obviously has some issues still. Work on the realtionship first. Then maybe you'll get a diamond.

Stop being so obnoxiously spoiled. He was married before-that's why she got a "real ring"-they had a solid committment! What have you done for your guy lately, other than whine? Start being a "giver" not a "receiver" and you will have a better relationship.

You are comparing yourself to his ex-wife which is the first mistake. He may have taken her to Disneyland, too, and his marriage still ended--it has nothing to do with you.
If you think he is afraid of commitment or he is cheap just ask him why he doesn't want to purchase the item for you. There could be a million reasons, but don't start by pre-supposing that it has anything to do with his ex.

Why would he get you something he got for his ex-wife. He doesn't want something that reminds him of her. I am sure he has something more unique planned for you. Just give it some time. Also do you know if he has the money for expensive gifts right now ??
Gifts are replaceable, your man is priceless.
