unfortuantly yes they do......

there are alot of christians out there preaching "if you don't obey god you will burn in hell" and honestly I don't agree with this....how can you show someone the truth the way and the light without first showing love, compassion, and understanding. The way to show the truth is by living it....not preaching it!

Yes, especially when you go to a nice church with friendly people and you're looking for a home and the preacher starts talking about people that don't read their Bible and don't share your beliefs and then they tell you that they are going to hell and that the Bible doesn't allow any this or that thinking. It must be this way and not that way. You leave that church never wanting to talk to another Christian or look at another Bible ever again. For days, you just want to scream at that person for crushing your hopes of finding a home and feeling close to God. You have to go it alone instead sometimes and you turn into a rebel to keep that pain away. But the Christian doesn't see or care about the pain he's caused.

First of all, whoever painted that must have heard or had an experience of a christian who got real mad because they didn't read the bible. The majority of christians don't do that or wouldn't do that to a person. i'm sure their are a few that do and as a christian myself, i think that doing something like that is over dramatic. If they don't want to read the bible, its their choice. We all have choices in life. Whoever painted that apparently believes we are that way, but they only see the few who do it, and not those who don't. So, not everyone sees christians that way.

I dont understand alll that, but to answer your question I would hope not..... It is one thing to tell / ask someone to read their Bible and it is another thing to spread the good news about Jesus Christ our risen saviour.....

A testimony is more useful than a command. That is why it is so important for a Christian to guard against sin. It is true we are perfect and no better than anyone. The only difference between a Christian and a non beleiver is we are saved. It makes all the difference. It is an eternal difference. we arent perfect only forgiven....

Not all people think this way about Christians, but some do. Just some.

On the other hand, some Christians *are* like this. Just some.

Finally, this is just a drawing by a single person with a little too much time on his hands.

I've been on the receiving end of this sort of behavior. I've had believers get red-faced, and start practically screaming at me, asking me how I "dare to be an atheist," and then question my patriotism. I can't say if it's typical, but obviously it happens often enough for non-believers to make a point of pointing it out. If, as believers, you find this image disturbing, perhaps you should think about reining in your more fanatical members.

LOL. No. but that was very cute.LOL
I have met crazzzy Christians, snobby ones & very very sweet & kind Christians. I've had a preacher (dont remember what church) was very rude to me & nagged me about Islam. Not all are like that. Just like not all Muslims(most Muslims) bomb or shoot people. True Muslims are totally against any kind of violence. As true Christians do.

Obviously it doesn't apply to all Christians, but it accurately depicts some Christians I have had the misfortune to meet. Just like any other group of people, there are some who take it to the extreme...

I don't think so. I am a christain. I don't think christians just go around and tell people to read the bible. I guess its more like, let other people believe in Jesus by seeing the good actions that you do, kinda thing. That art has the completely wrong idea about christianity.

I wish I had that power! Though I do wish to wear a cross on my neck or shirt. My Bible has a sword on the cover to remind me that it cuts both ways.
