I don't get it either, this has nothing to do with mistakes, it has to do with a chemicals in the brain, you are what you are, and so what, I always tell people life's too short to worry about what makes someone else happy, I believe in I do my thing, and you do yours what ever makes you happy, that's my motto. Look at Einstein he had some chemical in his brain, (it's a fact, I just can't remember the name of it) more then most of us do, that made him so intelligent, he must have had an abundance of this chemical, because most people still don't understand his E=MC2, the same goes for geniuses that can sit down and play a piece of music that they just learned, that would take the average person months to work on, they have more of that chemical then the average person does. Different chemicals make different people, it would be too boring it we all were the same. I don't think God has anything to do with this it's just the nature of things. People are starting to wise up it just take time for them to adjust to anything that's different then the way they think, it is getting better, and most of us do not think your satan, it's just those few people left out there that don't have the brains to realize that we're all different, we can't all be the same, their just to dumb to realize this. I know all the people in my family feel way differently now then when we were growing up, we were taught that this was a terriable thing, and in the process of growing up we also became able to think for ourselves, people are a lot smarter then they were years ago, our generation had learned to think for ourselves, and hopefully we will wipe out every predjusic in the years to come, I know that sounds idealistic but one can hope, we have gay people in our family and are proud of every one of them ! So hold your head high, you have noting to be ashamed of, I'll bet your a good person and never did anything to hurt anyone, but those screaming the loudest about how wrong you are have the most sins to hide, I'd bet on it !!!!!!!

Well if you want to go with this line of reasoning you have put forth I will answer.
God made no mistakes. HE gives all free will. Satan decided to pull away, made Eve an offer to defy God, she took it. Sin was born and here we are.
As for homosexuality, I am not going to go in to the battle of nature v. nurture. It is a simple matter. If you wish to be Christian, then you strive to follow the Bible. The Bible clearly condemns homosexual acts. So you can simply, though not always easily, handle it as the rest of humanity do. Consider, the Bible forbids adultery, however there are times when husbands may wish to cheat. Same formula as above. They either will or they won't. If they wish to serve God, they will strive to resist such impulses. Same works for Murder.

It is not God that judges us, it is the group of "Holier than Thou" religious fanatics who choose to force their beliefs on ALL those around them - especially if they DON'T think the same way that they do...
The Bible - which these nutjobs try to pass off as the ABSOLUTE answer to EVERYTHING (because it is the WORD OF GOD) - was written by MANKIND!!!
God didn't come down off his cloud and start penning his autobiography! Those in power (both through the Church and rulers of the land) forced their beliefs on the masses, and in turn they wrote down the thoughts and ideas of these "great prophets"
And from there, a rigid train of thought was developed. Today, modern Christians (of ANY particular branch of faith) have to make a choice - to follow the Bible WORD FOR WORD, or to use it as a GUIDELINE on how to live a good life...

i'm unlikely to assert that your question has the awesome theory of God, and that i'm unlikely to assert he does, or does not. that's my first existence, and that i've got no longer any theory to be easy. Alls i be attentive to, is that i went by way of that section, and nonetheless conflict with it on and rancid. purely the character of the beast, i think. If I have been to wager, i could say it has greater to do with the autumn, and sin entering into into the international, then something. i don't be attentive to if God suggested "be there a gay individual", as much as he gave us all a result. we've the word inspite of the incontrovertible fact that to lead us interior the awesome way out of affection. i could inspire you to stick to the actuality, and deny your self.

We all chose the life that we are living now before we were born into this world as we all have different lessons that our spirit is to learn before the next life. "God" did not make anyone 'gay', but simply, this is your life. There is nothing wrong with living an alternate lifestyle as long as you are happy, good and kind to others in your life. Those that deem it evil or wrong ARE wrong as "God" has put us here to learn and most importantly, to love and teach each other.
Also I would like to point out that the Bible was written by humankind and the content chosen by "the church" as to which books were allowed and not allowed(all human).

God didn't make you gay, at some point in your life, you decided that you felt that way, it may not have been your fault, you may not have even realized you may have had no control over it, but thats how satan works. God didn't make you gay, but he can help you change if you choose to. Keep in mind that there is nothing you can to that he won't forgive. As long as you have Jesus in your heart, you will always have a place in heaven. God loves you no mater what. He doesn't have to like your behavior, but he still loves you and will always forgive you.

Because, by and large, people are stupid.
If someone is backward enough to believe in an all-powerful yet invisible dude in the sky who will condemn you to eternal suffering if you down bow down to him--but he loves you!--then sexism, racism, and all the other -ism's aren't too far off.
Religion by itself requires that one be able to exclude others (such as of another faith) while simultaneously believing in loving everyone.
Logic and religion do not belong in the same universe.

It a big deal because it is an abomination to God.
Leviticus 18:22
Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
Leviticus 18:21-23 (in Context) Leviticus 18 (Whole Chapter)
Leviticus 18:26
Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:
Leviticus 18:25-27 (in Context) Leviticus 18 (Whole Chapter)
Leviticus 18:27
(For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)
Leviticus 18:26-28 (in Context) Leviticus 18 (Whole Chapter)
Leviticus 18:29
For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.
Leviticus 18:28-30 (in Context) Leviticus 18 (Whole Chapter)
Leviticus 20:13
If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
Leviticus 20:12-14 (in Context) Leviticus 20 (Whole Chapter)

If this be the case, why on earth did God call it an abomination? Hmmm...there is only one unforgiveable sin in the Bible. One. This might be something to ponder. Just because you may accept this way of life for you does not mean I have to like it, accept it, or allow it to be paraded in front of my children as "normal." We are supposed to love the sinner and hate the sin. Love ya man, just don't like what you're doing. :D

1.) God didn't make life easy for any of us. Get over it. Paul had his thorn in his side and so do you.
2.) That said, he loves you.
3.) If you want the only true answer to this seek Him out.
