yes you can.
when you starve/deprive your body all you lose is water weight and muscle NOT fat and slow down your metabolism.
what happens is your body uses its muscle for energy and stores all you eat (if you do) in fat reserves.
but you never know how your body will react - it might retain a lot of water which will make you look puffy and a few pounds heavier.
also when you starve your body it learns to work effectively burning a lot less calories.

Ofcourse.
its very complicated because unless you're anorexic or throw up all your food you gain weight because you actually eat more when you don't eat. let me explain
If you're not anorexic but usually for your normal diet you eat very little your body will want alot more food near the middle of the day or at dinner. In that case you usually end up eating more than you would if you ate a balanced meal.

IF YOU EAT A GOOD BREAKFAST EAT A HEALTHY LUNCH AND DINNER I CAN GARANTEE YOU WON'T GAIN WEIGHT. BUT FOR THAT YOU SHOULD BE EATING HEALTHY FOOD NOT STUFFING YOUR SELF WITH FAT FOOD.
Another way you can gain weight by not eating is that when you don't eat your body gets hungry and tired easily so you begin to consume a lot more water by time to time during the day so in that case you could end up gaining weight.

ANOTHER WAY YOU CAN GAIN WEIGHT BY NOT EATING IS THAT WHEN YOU DON'T EAT YOUR BODY WILL BECOME MORE WEAK AND THE DOCTOR WILL PROBABLY GIVE YOU PILLS FOR YOU TO GAIN WEIGHT. IT HAPPENS.

Not eating will slow your metabolism down and make it easier to gain weight when you do start eating again.

Your body operates on a feast or famine principle. When there is sufficient food coming into your body everyday it doesn't store fats away. Whereas if you starve yourself your body will store as much fat away as possible so as to have some nourishment for later on.

Also, if you eat several smaller meals every two to three hours this will stimulate your body to consume your current fat stores while also increasing your metabolic rate.

If you eat less with your meals spaced farther apart you will actual store more fat and your body will consume muscle mass as well as slow your metabolic rate down.

Take care :)

You will shed some pounds in the event you transfer to consuming the three small foods an afternoon. When you don't consume for an extended interval of time like you could have been doing, your frame is going into hunger mode, that is very nearly whilst your frame holds onto energy plenty longer than it could in the event you had been to devour meals previous to that of the final meal. By consuming breakfast, lunch and dinner, it continues your metabolism relocating in the course of the day, which burns extra energy.

You can gain a little since you are still consuming water and air.

when you dont eat you slow down your metabolism so when you do eat the fat is burned exceptionally slower. also if your eating fatty foods when you do eat it adds to this problem
