I used to feel unwanted by God because of that, yes... and other things, like whenever I tried to get some funds together from my church or community to go on a mission, most people seemed to think it was a joke or something, and I never did get enough money together in order to go on a mission. It was really hard for me to ask too, because I'm shy about asking for something like that (money). I havent lived a sinful life or anything... I'm not sure why I've had so much trouble, but now... even though I'm now having struggles with cancer, I am doing some of my own home-grown missionary work. I call it: "World Peace Ministries" Helping the homeless and hurting. Anyway, don't think that God doesnt want you or doesn't want you to serve Him. Everyone is valuable and can do something. Even if what you do seems very small, it is of great help in the sight of God. If everyone could do just a little, it all will add up to alot! He does want you, because He loves you and has all the confidence in the world in you, even when others don't.

No. My belief is in Christ and I try my best to follow him. I owe nothing to any political party. But because we live in a democratic republic, I have an opportunity to have my voice be heard and to be represented in government. Therefore, we can demand certain moral and ethical behavior from our representatives. They should be held to the highest standards and should reflect high morals and integrity. Don't believe for a second that any party fits this criteria completely. However, there is a difference between the two main parties and the differences are not insignificant.
If you are worried about "God wanting you", you should read the Bible and not worry about what some politician says.

Think about this. If you agreed with everything the church said you'd just be a mindless clone unless by some crazy coincidence you actually do agree through your own thoughts and figuring things out. Don't feel like God doesn't want you. If you feel that way you might as well ditch God.

NEVER! (sorry I will have to shout.) YOU HAD BETTER NEVER FEEL THIS WAY!!
AAARRRGH!
GOD LOVES YOU UNCONDITIONALLY!!!
IT'S THE HUMANS YOU HAVE TO BE WORRIED ABOUT!
PLEASE! PLEASE!! PLEASE!!!
REPEAT THIS:
GOD WANTS ME, GOD MADE ME! I AM ESPECIALLY MADE BY GOD!
OK, sorry shouting over.
Please do not confuse a room of people and what they are saying - to the love of GOD!
Every person there knows less than the youngest baby - less than you do about GOD. Oh, they can talk up a storm, and confuse a person in seconds, take the adults money and move on to another adult, but COME ON!
GOD put you on this planet for a reason - you have to study, live for as long as you can because GOD may need you for a few minutes now, in 2007 - but for 2-3 years in the far future. So get as smart as you can, learn learn learn - then you will be able to be confident whenever GOD calls you.
I am sorry I shouted so much.
I don't know if your reading this, I just hate when adults do this to people. Some adult poisoned you, and now your self confidence is suffering.
Talk to your mother and father. Set your goals high! click off a list of adults to avoid, or trust - man I hope you have a long list of adults you can trust! OK, ok, I better stop. Sorry.
Please repeat:
GOD WANTS ME, GOD MADE ME!
I AM ESPECIALLY MADE BY GOD!
and:
BE AT PEACE!!

No I dont feel that way at all. God is love, I like you are his devine creation. What you need to ask yourself is does your beliefs line up with the Bible? Your church is a good rule of thumb to use, but even a congregation can be wrong. If your views line up with the Bible then you have nothing to worry about. However if your views dont line up with the Bible then maybe you need to check your views. God loves all. If you accept his son you will live with him forever. If you reject his son (Jesus) then you will be seperated from him forever.
God loves you despite what you think or feel. This is where faith comes in. Check the word of God then check yourself if your in line then maybe you should check your church leadership. This maybe a difficult task but they are there to help you, ask questions for what you dont understand..
Good luck and God bless...

Sometimes I question my own beliefs, that's okay, everyone does. I'm not exactly the most religious person out there. But I personally believe that God is forgiving and understanding, not in any way hateful or predjudiced. God loves everyone, and it'd take a lot more than disagreeing with eachother to change that. Diversity of opinions is natural and not in anyway blasphemous, in my opinion. I think God loves everyone, no matter if they lean towards the right or the left.

I don't think God judges you based on the political beliefs of your church or if you follow them. I think we're all judged as people and how we live our lives. Also, I know God wants you. He sent His son to die for you and everyone else, so it's definitley clear He wants you. I just think there are times in our lives where we tend to wander away from church and away from God. The part that counts is that you get yourself back. Praying for you,

If your beliefs match the Bible unquestionably, then you should find a church that will help you grow as a Christian. If you ARE a Christian, then God absolutely wants you to be with Him, and never mind the so called "politics" of the church. God bless!

God does not want the conservatives. God wants loving people who server their community and lead by example, not people who want to enforce their beliefs on others through political action.

Any god is in your heart. If not then your not any better then "the" church. Feel free to worship on your own. The christian god says as long as you believe there is a place for you. Not that you have to go to any "church" for a place in his house!
